About Phyllis

I began writing as a teenager in crisis, but eventually swapped out songwriting for a paycheck in the insurance industry.

Then, in 2001, I returned to my roots when a dream compelled me to Follow Faith to Seminary, and back to my soul, just three weeks before 911. What timing for a new beginning, a new journey!

Now I compose music and poetry, while also working as both an attorney and independent consultant to fuel my artistic dreams.

My songs are all inspired by dreams, yet too, those turbulent moments in between, 'in the trenches', where passion percolates into contemporary consciousness.

Today, very comfortable with public performances (apart from the occasional bout of stage fright), I thoroughly enjoy sharing my music and lyrics with an appreciative audience. I've had the honor of being invited onto radio - what a buzz - and look forward to more appearances.

I have written a three book autobiography, a chronicle of my struggles with my direction, sexuality and faith. Yes, they are gritty, but I also hope they're inspirational. It gets pretty dicey in the vortex at times, alone and trapped between worlds without horizons, so appreciating that others suffer can be a healing balm.

Since learning to interpret and understand my dreams has been such a vital part of my journey, I have dedicated many years to fine-tuning my ability and delivering insightful dream readings focusing on spiritual healing, to help others find their own, unique paths.
